Policies and Procedures

Our policies and procedures protect the integrity of CRMO Program, ensuring the exam process is fair for all candidates. It is your responsibility to read and understand all policies set forth by GIFP.

Exam Eligibility Policy (Computer-Based Exam)

For CRMO L1 certification program

♦ College students or fresh graduates;

♦ Anyone who meets one of the conditions above and obtains 96 credits by completing the recognized education can apply to take CRMO L1 exam.

For CRMO L2 certification program

♦ Graduated from technical secondary school or equivalent, with at least 4-years' working experience in related fields;

♦ Junior college degree or equivalent, with at least 3-years' working experience in related field;

♦ Bachelor degree or equivalent, with at least 2-years' working experience in related field;

♦ Master degree or equivalent, or having obtained Certified Risk Management Officer Level 1 (CRMO L1), or intermediate or professional qualification in finance, accounting, economics, management and other related fields, with at least 1-year's working experience in related fields;

♦ Doctor degree or equivalent;

♦ Anyone who meets one of the conditions above and obtains 144 credits by completing the recognized education can apply to take CRMO L2 exam.

For CRMO L3 certification program

♦ Graduated from technical secondary school or equivalent, with at least 8-years' working experience in related fields;

♦ Junior college degree or equivalent, with at least 7-years' working experience in related field;

♦ Bachelor degree or equivalent, with at least 6-years' working experience in related field;

♦ Master degree or equivalent, or having obtained Certified Risk Management Officer Level 2 (CRMO L2), or intermediate or professional qualification in finance, accounting, economics, management and other related fields, with at least 4-years' working experience in related fields;

♦ Doctor degree or equivalent, with at least 2-years' working experience in related field;

♦ Anyone who meets one of the conditions above and obtains 216 credits by completing the recognized education and submits 2 letters of recommendation can apply to take CRMO L3 exam.
